A recent fire affected premises use by the local bicycle recycling charity The Bike Station, leaving it without a permanent home.
They have now moved to their warehouse at 244 Causewayside which is both unheated and where there is no office space.
Their community outreach programme has been put on pause until they resolve their difficulties.
The charity is launching a crowdfunding campaign appealing for £10,000 beginning from 12 noon on Thursday 1 December 2016.
The funds would help them get through the quiet period during the winter, assist them to continue their services promoting bikes and cycling.
Incentives offered include bike maintenance classes and bike services.
You can link to the crowdfunding campaign here from 12 noon on 1 December 2016.
