A morning at Loretto Junior School will include wizardry, potions, virtual reality and green screen filming antics.
A myriad of free activities is on offer for all youngsters aged 5-12 years at the upcoming Loretto Junior School Fun Morning taking place on Saturday, 12th November 2016!
Your primary school aged children are promised free, fun, action-packed activities with the school’s own pupils in a relaxed, informal environment.
Activities are suitable for children between 5 and 12 years of age.
A spokesman told us: “We have the Early Years Music School for 5-6 year olds and our action-packed Fun Morning programme for 7-12 year olds! Loretto’s new Indoor Golf Centre and Forest School (for 5-7 year olds) will be just two of the star attractions!”
Activities will include;
• Music.
Discover the delights of the SINGING SPACE, RECORDER ROOM, FIDDLE FACTORY AND PERCUSSION PAD.
• Art and Crafts.
Great art creating Van Gogh inspired craft pictures.
• Cricket.
Expert coaching by ex-Scotland and County player, Mr John Blain.
• Golf.
Our state-of-the-art indoor golf centre will provide the backdrop for this unforgettable activity.
• Ipads.
Experience the coolest uses of technology – GreenScreen filming, stop-motion animation, trick photography and augmented reality, where the wall displays come alive!
• Science.
Does your child see themselves as a budding witch or wizard? Have a go at making potions in this activity!
• Forest School
Connect with nature and become an explorer in this natural environment.
It makes no difference if youngsters have little or no experience of any of the activities on offer. This fun morning is a chance for youngsters to try their hand at new skills and activities. And it is all free!
