The Edinburgh Reporter’s busy burrowing mole into all that is about Town-sound and visionary vibrant, has unearthed reports of an innovative and up-to-the-moment new musicians’ showcase starting this Thursday, September 22nd. Appropriately, it is called Underground Live.
Hosted by Edinburgh University Students’ Association (EUSA) these free live music nights will showcase up and coming Scottish musicians every Thursday as part of their weekly entertainments programme. The events, running as Underground Live have already featured Indigo Velvet, The Rising Souls, Universal Thee, Earths, and many others over the last two years. This series of live events will see acts such as The Boy with the Lion Head, Delphi, Broken Boy, Teek and literally, dozens more, play free shows at Teviot Underground, Teviot Row House.
The events will take place every Thursday night from 9pm, starting on September the 22nd, and are completely free to attend, even if you’re not a student. Get along and hear some great Scottish acts. You might just find your new favourite band!
