Lufthansa Group has appointed Andreas Koster as Senior Director Sales UK, Ireland and Iceland.
Andreas Köster (45) brings many years of experience in airline management to his new position. He started his career in 1997 as management trainee with Lufthansa. He then gained profound experience in airline revenue management, before becoming General Manager Market & Business Development based in Singapore in 2004.
Three years later, he returned to Lufthansa’s Frankfurt office as Director Customer Intelligence, being responsible for Customer Data Analysis and Market Research. In 2013, he became Director Global Key Account Management, with responsibility for Lufthansa Group’s global corporate customers, travel management companies and online travel agents.
Mr Köster holds an Industrial Engineer degree from the Technical University Braunschweig in Germany.
Mr Köster is taking over from Christian Schindler who will now be Head of Sales and Services Europe for the LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG at Frankfurt Airport.
