Due to redevelopment plans, Wilsons Auctions will be selling by unreserved public auction, the entire contents of the Minto Hotel in Edinburgh.

The 125 year old property consists of 22 bedrooms, restaurant and bar facilities and an events suite and isn’t a stranger to some famous faces who have passed it’s doors over the years. Andy Goram, former Scotland international association goalkeeper got married in the hotel and Una McLean, the British actress and comedian apparently met her future husband Russell Hunter there. The hotel was also known for being the place where Rangers signed the controversial Scotland goalkeeper from Hibernian.
