Edinburgh based Flavours Holidays is excited to announce its “Big Painting Competition”. The painting holiday tour operator is searching for Britain’s best amateur artist.
With the rise of painting TV shows such as the Big Painting Challenge, Flavours has seen an astonishing increase in holiday enquiries. Flavours founder and director Lorne Blyth said: “It’s amazing how many people wish to express themselves through art. Unfortunately, there is very little out there for amateur artists. Our guests return with stunning paintings from their holidays and it’s a shame no one gets the chance to see it. That’s why we want to run this competition. We want to give these people a platform to show their artwork and, of course, find Britain’s best amateur artist.”
The competition will be open from 28 September to 31 October. Paintings should illustrate “La Dolce Vita – what’s your perfect Italian Holiday” and can be uploaded on Flavours Facebook, Twitter and Google+ page. The winner can win a voucher for a Flavours painting holiday and participants will be invited to exhibit their art work after the competition.
