Sam Stanton will continue his return to full fitness tonight against St Johnstone Development Squad at McDiarmid Park. (kick off 6pm).
The 20 year-old midfielder, returned to training last week after being sidelined for a week suffering from the mumps.
Development Coach Joe McBride adds Stanton, who has scored at a prolific rate for the Development squad when called upon this season, to his team and says he wants the group to replicate the level of performance produced during the 4-1 win at Rangers.
Speaking to hibernianfc.co.uk, McBride said: “We’re looking to continue what we’ve been doing for the past three or four weeks.
“Since our result at Rangers, our performances have dropped a wee bit, so we’re looking to get back up to that standard at St Johnstone.”
Goalkeeper Sean Brennan has joined Preston Athletic on loan until the end of the season and he made his debut against Spartans last week.
Defender Ben Stirling featured as a substitute for Scotland under-17s during the team’s 2-1 win over Romania at Rugby Park last week.
Academy player Jack Adamson captained Scotland under-16s to a 4-1 win over Serbia in the UEFA U16 Development tournament on Monday afternoon.
