Letters From Area C is a play about a land where ordinary people have to keep going in the face of extreme hardship. Facing prison and war, they find ways to hold onto dignity and hope.
This new play by poet Jim Aitken will be performed in a rehearsed reading at Area C Coffeehouse, 239-241 Leith Walk, at 7:30 on Saturday 29 November 2014.
Nabil Shaban, actor, writer and filmmaker, known for his role in Doctor Who, will join Lubna Kerr, Manjot Sumal, Habiba Islam, Margot Taylor and Carl Q Ling in the cast. Karen Douglas will direct for SpartaKi theatre company.
