‘Students must put their dough to good use.’
Cookery demonstration teaches city students how to cook
For the third year running Edinburgh student property management and lettings specialist Cullen Property, who specialise in HMO properties, teamed up with award-winning restaurant Mamma’s Pizzeria to teach students how to cook some of their favourite dishes.
The event is aimed at students who have recently moved away from home and need to learn how to cook for themselves. They were taught how to cook their very own pizza, burger and Banoffee Pie, including traditional and healthy versions.
Cullen Property handed out goodie bags at the event, and Steve Coyle, Cullen Property Operations Director, offered them some business coaching too.
Coyle said: “Most of our tenants are students and they often tell us that after they have moved into their first flat they wish they knew how to cook for themselves. So we thought, what better way to help freshers settle in than providing cooking skills and knowledge?”
