Police in Edinburgh have issued a warning after a quantity of strong medication was lost.
A carrier bag containing 41 Temazepam and 70 Diazepam tablets were left on a Lothian bus somewhere between Balgreen and the Royal Infirmary yesterday (Monday).
Anyone who comes across the pills is asked to hand them in to the nearest police station.
A police spokesman said: “These tablets are only meant for consumption by the individual they are prescribed to and can have significant health implications if taken by anyone else.
“We would ask anyone who finds the medication to hand it over to police as soon as possible.”
