Hibs youngster Danny Handling is back in the Scotland under-21 squad for next Thursday’s UEFA European Championship qualifier against Georgia at St Mirren Park (14 November, kick off 7.30pm).
The Haddington teenager was called up into under-21 squad at the end of August before being forced to withdraw due to an ankle injury.
Now back to full fitness Handling resumed first team duties prompting the recall by Scotland under-21 coach Billy Stark.
Handling told Hibernian TV: “I’m delighted with the news – it is an honour and privilege to be called up by Scotland for the under-21 squad.
“It was a big disappointment for me to pull out last time because of the injury, but I’m fit again now and hopefully I can help Hibs to win against Inverness on Saturday before joining up with the under-21s next week.”
