At the Fringe there are some weird and wonderful acts and venues. The thing about The Butlers is that they will perform wherever you want them to. They can do anything from delivering mail to setting up and clearing away after a dinner party, picnic or afternoon tea.
We were invited to go and see what Fletcher the Butler was up to this morning at Aquamarine Power’s offices in Elder Street. He had been given many tasks, such as greeting the staff on arrival and making teas and coffees. He seemed to be coping well with the demands.
Fletcher is also a fan of William Topaz McGonigall and so, for a company involved in wave energy who employ many engineers, he recited McGonigall’s great work ‘The Tay Bridge Disaster’. Here is a little taster although we will have more video later!
If you feel that you could make use of a butler over the next week then do send a correspondence card to Fletcher! He can be contacted through the website or on Twitter.
But hurry up as they are in great demand!
