Go wild his Valentine’s Day with a Magic Moment experience at Edinburgh Zoo. What better way to spend the big day itself than with a special someone, taking part in a unique animal experience – with times available on Valentine’s Day itself:
- Lemur Magic Moment from 11-11.30am
- Rhino Magic Moment from 3-3.30pm
- Owl Magic Moment from 3.45-4.15pm
- Birds, Bugs and Beasties available at 9.15-9.45am and 3.45-4.15pm

Love-in with the lemurs
Get to know the Zoo’s lively lemurs a little bit better and help create enrichment for them to enjoy. A 30 minute experience, the Lemur Magic Moment is suitable for those aged 12 years and over, and if priced at £50.
Rhinos
Take a step closer to one-horned Indian rhinos, Bertus and Samir, in the ‘keepers only’ area. Also a 30 minute long experience, you and your loved one will get to feed these impressive animals by hand. Suitable for those 16 years and over, the Rhino Magic Moment and costs £70 per person.
Whoot Woo with Owls
The owl Magic Moment will see participants give a helping hand in training the variety of owls that Edinburgh Zoo has. As well as learning all about their fascinating adaptations, making them expert hunters night time hunters! This 30 minute experience priced at £50 per person.
Love Birds, Bugs and Beasties
Animal enthusiasts can meet and learn all about some of the Zoo’s lesser known and more unusual residents. Get up close and personal to some of the exotic birds in the African aviary, help feed them their lunch, then meet some of our slithery snakes and learn all about them from their keepers. This 30 minute experience is priced at £35 per person.
