Nick Gardner is standing as Labour candidate for the Leith Walk Ward.
Nick was born in Watford, and educated in Hertfordshire. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1983 with an MA(Hons) in English Literature and History.
Nick has lived in Edinburgh since 1985, where he has worked as a youth & children’s worker, and later in the mental health field, as a development worker and advocate.
Currently Nick is a self employed web developer, and part-time community care worker. He is chair of an Edinburgh Mental Health charity. Nick is single, and lives in the Leith Walk area.
