Michael Bridgman is the SNP group candidate for the Portobello/Craigmillar Ward.
He told The Reporter:-
“I was born in Edinburgh and raised in Bingham, attending Lismore primary and then Portobello High School. I worked as an Insurance Broker for 21 years prior to being elected for the first time in 2007.
Since being elected I have been chair of the SNP council group and the Convener of Lothian & Borders Fire & Rescue Board. As well as being on the Licensing Board, Culture & Leisure Committee, Health, Social Care & Housing Committee. I also chair the Neighbourhood Partnership. I am very active in the community and I feel privileged to have been allowed to represent the people of Portobello/Craigmillar.”
