Bill Henderson is the SNP candidate for Pentland Hills Ward.
He told The Reporter:-“I was born in Edinburgh and live in Balerno. I am married with 4 children all of whom were educated at Balerno High School. Served in the army as a Telecommunications Technician in England, Germany, Northern Ireland and Canada, achieving the rank of Corporal. On leaving, I then joined what is now known as BT where I was employed for 32 years mainly in planning until I took early retirement.
As a strong advocate of Scottish independence I have been a member of the SNP since I was 16. Recently I was the Campaign Organiser and Election Agent for both Dr. Ian McKee and Gordon Macdonald, both of whom were elected to the Scottish Parliament.”
