The Edinburgh Evening News tell us that Council Leader, Jenny Dawe is ready to have any investigation in the trams project now, and has written to the First Minister to advise him of her council’s state of readiness. If you have a spare hour or two today then you might like to watch the ceremony by which The Princess Royal was installed as Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh, and JK Rowling was honoured with a Benefactor’s Award at the same ceremony. The video is about 56 minutes long so be warned!
