Charlie Sheen is not buying a house in Edinburgh.The troubled star appears to have his sights set on a £4.65m house in LA according to Zooplablog. He would have little trouble buying an average house in Edinburgh as the house prices here are a bit more reasonable. According to the latest report from the ESPC:-“In the three months to February the average house price in Edinburgh stood at £205,191 following an annual increase of 1.5%. The number of homes selling is still around 50% below levels seen at the peak of the market.” The Scotsman tells us that the most expensive street in Edinburgh is Belmont Drive where the average price is over £2m.

The Guardian carries a story about the supermarket in London which is growing produce on the roof………..Is that one solution to the lack of allotment plots in the city?
