Livingston travel to Partick Thistle on Friday (kick-off 19.30) in the William Hill Championship boosted by news that striker Bruce Anderson has re-joined the club for a second spell after leaving to join Kilmarnock in 2024.
The 27-year-old established himself as one of the most consistent attacking threats during his first spell, scoring 30 goals in 115 appearances in all competitions.
Livingston are second in the table after Saturday’s impressive 2-0 win over Queen’s Park and The Jags are also on three points following their 1-0 victory at Greenock Morton, Letsosa scoring the only goal after 82 minutes.
Robbie Muirhead was the two-goal hero for Livi with goals after 50 and 77 minutes but mention must be made of Tyrese Sinclair who was lively throughout and was the Player of the Match thanks to fans voting on the club’s Blocksport app.
Glenn Whelan, Livingston’s head coach, felt the first half performance was sloppy to begin with and the tempo was not quite right.
He said: “I got after the lads at half time and they came out second half and were dominant. We created a lot of chances. Listen, 2-0 win, clean sheet, but there are still improvements there to be made.”
