Costco at Straiton has been closed since just after 1pm due to a power cut.
The gates at the entrance to their car park are shut and no-one is allowed to enter the car park or the shop.
This appears to be an isolated incident as an employee told The Edinburgh Reporter that neighbouring stores IKEA and Sainsbury’s have power.
Scottish Power Energy Networks have no news of any power cuts in the EH20 area.
We have approached Costco for comment.
