It’s Benfica next for Hearts in Europe. The celebrated Portuguese club overcame a 2-1 first-leg deficit in Lisbon to secure their slot.
Marco Silva’s side move forward after a 5-0 win over Swiss club, St Gallen, with Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis netting four goals.
They finished third in the Premeira League last season in a competition won by Porto with Sporting second.
And they reached the knockout stage play-offs of the Champions League.
If Hearts win this Europa League tie they will be seeded in the play-off round.
Should Hearts fail then they will slip down into the Conference League pay-offs where they will be unseeded and there are some big names there.
