Hibs overcame a two-goal deficit from the first leg to qualify for the next round of the Conference League after beating Malisheva 4-1 at Easter Road tonight.
Head coach David Gray made two changes to the side that lost in Kosovo last week.
Grant Hanley and Jack Iredale made way for summer signings Jason Kerr and Adam Major.
Hibs started on the front foot and Martin Boyle almost opened the scoring in the first minute but his effort went wide.
Jordan Obita than had an effort blocked before Josh Mulligan rattled the crossbar as Hibs pressed for an opener.
And that arrived in the 8th minute. Boyle cut in from the left and his pass found Owen Elding who sent a powerful shot beyond the keeper at his near post.
Moments later Hibs levelled the tie on aggregate when Felix Passlack played a one-two and powered in a low shot which rebounded into his path and he fired in the second attempt to the delight of the fans.
Five minutes later Boyle’s powerful effort rebounded off the bar with the keeper stranded as Hibs continued to press forward.
Although it was mostly all Hibs, the visitors did create a chance following a slack pass and Mulligan picked up a caution for a blatant tug on a Malisheva player 25-yards from goal.
Hibs added a third in the 35th minute when Boyle’s cross from the left was headed back across goal by Elding and Nathan Lowe was on hand to bundle the ball into the net.
Mulligan almost added a fourth just before the break but the keeper did well to save his effort.
Hibs continued to attack after the restart.
Boyle beat three players and sent a pass to Elding but the youngster’s effort was too high.
Hibs were keen to add to their lead and Passlack crossed for the hard working Lowe but the keeper saved his header.
Mayor then set up Mulligan but the midfielder’s shot was blocked at the edge of the six yard box.
Moments later Boyle cut in from the left wing and beat several defenders before dragging a low shot past the goalkeeper to make it 4-0.
In the 61st minute Gray made a triple change with Joe Newell, Chris Cadden and Azeem Abdulai replacing Boyle, Mulligan and Mayor.
Newell did well to slide the ball into the path of Lowe but his powerful shot is saved well by the keeper at his front post.
Thibault Klidje replaced Lowe for the last 10 minutes and the on-loan striker received a standing ovation for his efforts.
But typically Hibs made it a nervous finish for the fans when against the run of play Omer Bajraktari fire a shot from 25 yards which sailed past the diving Raphael Sallinger.
But the Hibs players held on to secure a famous come-back victory.
After the final whistle Gray told BBC Scotland: “The start is what I really want to focus on – the reaction.
“We spoke about the intensity we want to play at, the intent from the start to play forward, run forward and get the crowd behind us.
“I saw it in training and they fully deserved to win tonight. We should have been out of sight, we hit the woodwork a couple of times and missed three or four big chances.
“That goal at the end made it a little bit edgy but at the same time, the players deserved what they got tonight. Delighted for them.”
Hibs will face Shkendija in the next round.
The North Macedonian side grabbed an 88th-minute goal for a 3-1 win at home to Bravo from Ljubljana, making it through 4-3 on aggregate.
