Former Hibs star Lewis Stevenson has joined an elite band of players who have won all three cup trophies in Scottish football.
The veteran full-back starred for Raith Rovers in their 4-1 victory over Inverness Caley Thistle in the KDM Evolution Trophy final yesterday.
Stevenson wrote his name in Hibs’ history books by becoming the only player ever to win both the Scottish Cup and the League Cup with the club.
He picked up a League Cup winners medal in Hibs 2007 CIS League Cup win over Kilmarnock then won the Scottish Cup in the 2016 victory over Rangers.
He now joins former Hibs team mate Leigh Griffiths who was a member of the Dundee squad that lifted the Challenge Cup in 2009 with their 3-2 victory over Inverness Caley Thistle.
And at Celtic he won four League Cup medals and three Scottish Cup medals.
Another former team mate, Callum Booth was part of Rith Rovers 2014 Ramsdens Cup win over Rangers when on loan from Hibs.
He was then part of St Johnstone’s remarkable League and Cup winning side in season 2020/21.
The others include Billy Dodds, Colin Cameron and Michael O’Halloran.
Stevenson’s friend and team mate Paul Hanlon missed out on Sunday’s victory due to injury.
