Freya and Arran Drever, the 13-year-old twins from Granton, mirrored each other’s performances at the Athens European kick boxing Challenge tournament with both of them bringing back two golds and a silver medal.

Furthermore both golds were in the “Points” fighting category, while the silver medals were gained in “Continuous” fighting.

Freya, who is now up to No 1 in the world rankings for her age group, competed at -65kgs and +65kgs.

Arran’s golds came in the -63kgs and -69kgs categories.

Competitors came from all around Europe, with Arran taking part in a total of 15 contests, while Freya fought 11 contests in total.

Members of the Wolfpack Martial Arts Club in Livingston, the twins will be on their travels next month when they compete in the Italian World Cup event in Lido di Jesolo.

This is followed by UK Championships in Barnsley.

Also successful in Athens was club-mate Eilidh Moorhead who struck bronze.
