Rocky Bushiri says that the Hibs players will move on following last night’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Rangers at Easter Road.

Danilo opened the scoring inside the first five minutes of the match – and that goal proved to be crucial – with the visitors claiming all three points after Jack Butland saved Jamie McGrath’s penalty late on.

The result was Hibs first home league defeat since November 2024 and speaking after the match, Rocky shared his disappointment with the result.

He told Hibs TV: “It is difficult to take, we’re all disappointed – especially to lose at home for the first time in a while. I feel like there was something there for us today – we had enough chances to at least get a draw, but we conceded early on and made it difficult for ourselves.

“The main frustration is conceding so early; we tried to put it right after that, but I don’t think it was enough in the end. We had a penalty late on and a few chances in the end – but it wasn’t meant to be.

“We will move on from it, we need to analyse it and make sure we go again.”

The defeat means Hibs dropped to fourth in the table, and now face a trip to Livingston on Saturday, hoping to get back to winning ways.

“Every game is very important – this season the league is as tight as it has ever been,” Rocky continued.

“It is the end of October now, but I don’t think we need to worry too much at the moment.

“We need to keep taking each game one by one and make sure we keep those performance levels high.”
