Hibs left wing back Nicky Cadden is anticipating a tough test at Pittodrie in tomorrow’s William Hill Premiership game against Aberdeen.
Cadden featured in Hibs 4-0 win over Livingston last weekend and he is eager for the players to build on that result when they travel north looking for three points to consolidate third place..
When speaking to the press ahead of the game, Cadden expressed the belief that’s circling around HTC.
“We know we’re a good team in there. We’ve lost one league game this season, yes, we’ve had a few draws and when you look back on them, we should’ve won a few of them. The team is bright and confident.
“Training is really competitive, and that shows people in the dressing room want to play and win games of football. This dressing room is full of winners, and we want to win games.”
Aberdeen currently sit 11th in the top-flight table and come into Sunday’s game off the back of a 6-0 defeat in Greece on Thursday evening. Despite that, though, Cadden is well aware of how difficult an opposition they’ll be.
“We know it’ll be a tough game against Aberdeen. They’ve had a difficult start to the season, but have picked up a few results recently.
“We’re under no illusions that it’ll be a tough game in Pittodrie. I hope we can build on some of our good performances, and come back down the road with a good result.”
