Two city runners devised a route to create a Christmas bauble on the map based app Strava.
Gill Menzies and Lorraine Twyford put on their running shoes and Christmas costumes before setting out around the streets of Silverknowes to create the festive shape. They do this annually and this year ran around in circles to complete a 4k.
