Dunfermline tennis men’s team will play in Division One of the VMH Solicitors East tennis leagues next season after romping through Division Two unbeaten.
The Fifers saw off the challenges of David Lloyd Corstorphine, Hatton, Musselburgh, Blackhall and Aberdour both home and away with some outstanding individual performances along the way.
Notables were Lewis Mackintosh, who dropped only one set in 40 while similarly unbeaten Matthew Forrest shed just two sets also from 40 played.
Others to finish in the league’s top six, statistics-wise, were Scott Morrison (19/20). Jed McMillan (14/14) and Michael Russell (13/16).
