John received the Colin Macandrew trophy from honorary president Michael Marshall.
The women’s championship was won by Gill Brown.
The club host the Purves two ball triples on Saturday 10 August.Entry is £30 with a prize fund of £750.
Includes morning coffee and roll as well as light lunch for qualifiers in the round robin format.
