Warrender’s Emily Lake finished tournament top scorer with an incredible 27 goals from four games as Scotland’s under-16 girls water polo team won Division Two of the British inter regional championship at Walsall.

The team won all their matches in a competition which also featured North East Steelers and West Midlands Warriors.

Also flying the flag for Warrender water polo was Zoe Nimmo.

The rest of the team comprised: Ava Thornton, Ruby Reid and Eve Fielding (Dunfermline), Libby Wallace, Eleanor Campbell, Libby Duncan, Kayla Reeve, Ksenia Mann (Menzieshill dWhitehall), Charlotte Smith (Stirling) Ava Stewart (Forth Valley) Heather Wood (Kirkintilloch and Kilsyth).

The Scotland under-16 boys finished fifth in their Division Two event at Bolton.

After opening defeats against London Sharks and East Midlands they bounced back to sign off with a 22-7 win over Wales.
