Dunbar Rugby Club’s 12th annual minis tournament, sponsored by Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, attracted up to 500 youngsters to Hallhill Sports Centre.
Teams represented were Berwick, Dunbar, Duns, Gifford, Haddington, and North Berwick as well as visitors from Merthyr, Wales.
Girl’s teams from Dunbar, Strathendrick, and Stirling County also came together for an exhilarating day of rugby.
Results were:
Primary 3 – Duns; Primary 4 – Haddington; Primary 5 – North Berwick; P 6 – Haddington; P7 – Berwick.
Dunbar girls took top prize in their competition.

Scotland Rugby youth players Eve Cowe (under-18’s) and Findlay Thomson (under-20’s) presented a medal to every child who took part in the event and are pictured with the winning teams.
