The annual mixed media exhibition which is open to all the gallery’s Collectivists begins on Saturday 22 July at Art & Craft Collective on Causewayside.

This year’s theme is ‘Glassy Eye’ – what happens when you drift off into the imaginary?  The imaginary can be an adventure: personified by hobbies, interests or lusts.

Visitors can expect original oil and acrylic paintings, stained glass, kiln formed glass and more!

Some of the artists exhibiting will be at the opening on Saturday between 2.30 and 4 pm.  Edinburgh Reporter readers are invited to enjoy a glass of fizz and view the artworks.

This is a free event.

The exhibition continues until Saturday 26 August.

The exhibition image was created by the gallery’s intern, Shea Preston, a fourth year painting student at Edinburgh College of Art.  He has co-curated the exhibition and this image will be on sale during the show.
