Jumping on the trend towards holidays within Scotland, St. Andrews-based entrepreneur Rosemary McLennan has launched Staycation Scotland, a booking site featuring four and five star accommodation and hospitality brands across a number of specialist areas including heritage and history, spa and wellness, adventure and city breaks, accommodation as well as arts and culture.
Rosemary says she realised during lockdown that Scots – as well as visitors to Scotland – were longing for inspiration for their next trip.
“It was clear that many travellers would be staying closer to home, so we set out to provide a wealth of ideas, destinations and attractions throughout Scotland, all in one easy to use website,” she says.
“ Whether it’s a bustling city break, the peace and solitude of the countryside or a heritage day out, Staycation Scotland has bags of inspiration for a holiday in Scotland.

Each listing includes images, a detailed description of what’s on offer, a location map, contact details and special offers. Users are encouraged to click through to the attraction’s own website to make a booking. Staycation Scotland will feature exclusive special offers available only when mentioning Staycation Scotland.
