The Aberlady Post Office may be closed, but the services of the Post Office are available on Tuesday and Friday of this week at Aberlady Village Hall.
This temporary hosted outreach service is at the Village Hall, Sea Wynd Aberlady, EH32 0SD while a permanent solution is sought.
The service will operate on a Tuesday from 1- 3pm; Friday: 9.45 – 11.45am. East Linton Postmaster, Neil Sinclair, is providing this service. Angela Smith, Post Office Change Manager, said: “We are delighted that we have been quickly able to find a solution to maintain Post Office service in Aberlady as we know how important Post Office services are to a community. We want to thank Postmaster Neil Sinclair for providing this service.”
The building at 27 High Street which was home to the post office has been sold.
