Hibs’ Development Squad player Dino Leddie has agreed a move to CD Almunecar City that will run until January.

The defender will return from Spain at that point for further assessment at the Hibernian Training Centre.

Hibernian FC Sporting Director Graeme Mathie said: “This is a great opportunity for Dino, whose attitude and application has been excellent ever since he joined the club.

“This move allows him to experience adult football abroad, which is something we’d like to facilitate for more of our young players and it will undoubtedly be a tremendous learning experience for Dino.

“We’re pleased he’ll be able to return in January when we can discuss his future development options.”

Founded in 2017, CD Almuñecar City is an international Spanish club and senior team for FC Malaga City Academy.

With players from across the globe, the club has achieved two successive promotions since its creation and competes in the highest regional league in Granada.
