Hibs’ legend Keith Wright will take part in a question and answer session and talk about his playing career in addition to picking the ‘Best 11’ that he played with.

The interview will take place live at 10.30am on Monday morning. To take part contact footballglasgow@outlook.com

Lifelong Hibs’ fan Wright first came to prominence with Raith Rovers in the mid-eighties after being freed by his boyhood heroes as a teenager.

His form attracted the attention of Dundee and in 1986 he moved to Dens Park where he formed part of a prolific goal scoring partnership with Tommy Coyne.

He subsequently turned down a big money move to Aberdeen and instead joined Hibs under Alex Miller.

In the summer of 1991, he became an immediate fans favourite when scoring in every round of the Skol/League Cup as Hibs lifted the trophy when defeating Dunfermline 2-0 at Hampden a few months later.

His semi-final header at Hampden from Mickey Weir’s inch-perfect cross ended Walter Smith’s run of trophies then in the final, with Hibs leading 1-0 thanks to a Tommy McIntyre penalty, Weir once again set him up and he scored to goal which brought the first silverware to Easter Road for 19-years.

Called into the Scotland set up in 1992, Keith Wright won his first and only full cap in Scotland’s 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland at Hampden in February of that year.

After six seasons at Easter Road as a first team regular he rejoined Raith Rovers in 1997, scoring 12 times from 25 appearances the second time around before moving on to Morton.

He finished his professional career at Stenhousemuir in 1999.

Wright, who is still fondly remembered at Easter Road, played 174 league games for Hibs, scoring 59 goals.

He played with many fine players at Hibs who are likely to be considered for his XI including Jim Leighton, John ‘Budgie’ Burridge, Murdo Macleod, Darren Jackson, Pat McGinlay, Kevin McAllister, Michael O’Neil, Mickey Weir, Gordon Hunter, Graeme Mitchell, Tommy McIntyre, Willie Miller Gordon Rae and Gareth Evans,
