Dhoom, the Indian Street food restaurant and bar in Dunfermline’s New Row, celebrated its first birthday last night with a private party for their regular customers, family and friends.

A special birthday cake was cut by owner Dhaneshwar Prasad and his team.

Indian drummers and dancers added to the “spirit of celebration” for which Dhoom has become known. The restaurant has reached Number One Restaurant in the town in its first year, and also picked up Best New Restaurant at the Scottish Curry Awards.

Dhaneshwar Prasad hopes to open a street food restaurant in Edinburgh next year.
