Headliners James made their Summer Sessions debut in Princes Street Gardens tonight.
Playing the ultimate festival set of tunes including opener ‘She’s A Star’ and ‘Sit Down’ James brought out one of the biggest singalongs of the Summer Sessions series so far from the first note they played.
Jumping into the crowd and holding hands with fans, the legendary band played for their adoring fans.
Supported by local lads Fatherson and Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly, it was an outstanding display of music.
Glasgow’s Fatherson played a brilliant set including the tracks ‘Always’, ‘Sleeping Over’ and ‘Ghost’, whilst Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly got the festival off to a flying start earlier on in the evening.
Still to come in the Summer Sessions series in Edinburgh is a sold-out show by Courteeners tomorrow night and the legendary Madness close proceedings on Sunday.
Meanwhile in Glasgow, The Cure, Mogwai, The Twilight Sad and The Joy Formidable open Summer Sessions there tomorrow night.
