Sam Jensen is expected to make his debut for Glasgow Tigers on Friday (7.30pm) after driving from Denmark as they host Berwick Bandits in the SGB Championship.

The former world champion at 80cc level and an ex-Danish under-21 title holder drove all-day after a race meeting on Wednesday.

And he will hope to get his bikes dialled-in quickly as Glasgow bid to consolidate pole position in the 11-strong table with a win over the Borders club.

They have 35 points from 12 meetings while Berwick prop up the rest with ten points from 11 meetings.

Captain Kevin Doolan (picture by Tax MacD Photography) and the squad are looking for something from the meeting.

Jensen said: “My season in Denmark is going very well. I’m in the Superleague where I’ve made some great points.

“I’m also in the First Division and I’m the team captain. I’m making some good points there too.”

He added: “I’m looking forward to meeting all the guys at the club and coming to do my best.”
