SOUTHSIDE GALLERY CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY
Art & Craft Collective, the gallery and gift shop on Causewayside is two this month and will celebrate with a party on Friday 30 August 2019 at 3.30 pm.
Local MP Ian Murray will be on hand to cut the cake.
Gallery owner Linsay Given Black said : “We opened with the work of 24 artists and crafters on display
“We now feature over 60 artists: local, national and international and have a waiting list of artists wishing to join us. We aim to provide support and advice to our artists as well as an exhibition space.”
Coming this month will be the Gallery’s online shop featuring many of the gift and homeware items on display. “Customers from further afield have been asking about buying online. We listened and here it is!” said Linsay. You can find the shop at www.artcraftcollective.co.uk
Another exciting development for the Gallery is joining Artsy – the largest online art sales platform in the world. “Artsy gives us an international showcase for our artists’ work. We will be organising exclusive online exhibitions as well as listing our original art and limited edition prints for sale.”
