Collections and Interpretation Manager of the Abbotsford Trust, Kirsty Archer-Thompson will deliver a lecture on Sir Walter Scott’s Abbotsford this April.
This is part of the series of lectures organised by The Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland.
Kirsty will be talking about Scott’s aims when it came to the Abbotsford design. She will showcase how Scott created such a great place for storytelling and celebration.
The lecture at St Andrew’s and St George’s West Church on George Street takes place on Monday 1 April at 6.30pm. Tickets £5. Students can attend for free and non members are welcome.
