Launching today at 12noon the first episode of a new podcast, VerifiedViews features an interview with resident Love Island DJs and Edinburgh favourites The Mac Twins.
Hot off the back of their DJ set at the NTAs last night, the Mac Twins open up on air.
Speaking about their influence on Love island, the Mac Twins say: “As 30 year olds we can look at Love Island and go, fair enough guys you’re absolutely slamming but I like cheese too much to look like you…but is a 13 year old going to think that? That’s where we are, and as part of the show, we’re interested in how can we use our influence to change that.”
The first instalment of #VerifiedViews will be released today including an interview with The Mac Twins who open up about life on Love Island, being female DJs in a male dominated industry and how they are seeking to improve the nation’s gut health.
Viewers can expect open, honest, unfiltered views from Lisa and Alana as they discuss how they feel the responsibility to use their influence to drive positive change.
The IGTV series and longer-format podcasts #VerifiedViews, has been created by London based influencer marketing agency Connects aiming to inspire and bring to life what it is really like to be influential. No scripts, no agenda, just honest opinions and advice on how to build a career as a social media influencer.
Future episodes of #VerifiedViews include; Edd Kimber (The Boy Who Bakes) on what it’s really like in the GBBO tent, Arooj Aftab discusses diversity online and Frankie Bridge speaks candidly on her battle with mental health.
