Just as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe ends one of the many others springing up across the world opens tomorrow in Philadelphia.
Since 1997 the Philadelphia Fringe Festival has offered over 1000 performances.
It might be a little late to plan for this year but American Airlines launch their daily service from Edinburgh Airport in April and you can already buy seats on those flights.
One of the upcoming events is Le Super Grand Continental by Sylvain Émard at Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Hundreds of performers from all ages and dance backgrounds will come together during Le Super Grand Continental at the front steps of the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. Choreographed by Montreal-based Sylvain Émard, the synchronised and large-scale performance will combine the pure delight of line dancing and the fluidity of contemporary dance.
After each show, the audience will be invited to join dancers when the area becomes an open-air dance floor. Le Super Grand Continental is free to attend and will take place on Saturday 8th September 2018 at 4:00pm and 8:00pm and on Sunday 9th September 2018 at 4:00pm.
