Powerhouse Fitness have been unveiled as Hibs’ Official Fitness Equipment Partner and as part of the deal they have recently upgraded the gym facilities at the Hibernian Training Centre.

The company upgraded the strengthening and conditioning area of the gym, creating a power lifting area with squat racks, benches and lifting platform and also created a functional training zone with plyo boxes, slam balls, full dumbbell set, as well as improving the cardio equipment available within the facility.

Nathan Ring, Head of Football Science and Medicine said: “We have been delighted with the support we have received from the Powerhouse Fitness team. Not only the supply and quality of the equipment which has been installed, but the communication, design support and after care as well.

“They have helped us create a bright, open design, which maximises the available space and allows us to work with a high volume of players simultaneously. This will help us work with players at all levels, from the first-team through to all ages of the Hibernian Academy, maintain and improve their fitness levels.

“From the beginning of the project to the end they are a company that really understood the design brief and cared about the achieving the best possible finish with the available budget. I can’t speak highly enough of the company and staff within it.”

Powerhouse Fitness Managing Director, Ken Reeve added: “It is a great Partnership for Powerhouse Fitness to be teaming up with Hibernian Football Club and we are really proud of what has been achieved at the Hibernian Training Centre.

“Our Edinburgh store is less than 10 minutes from the stadium and we intend on utilising the partnership to shine a light on the largest home fitness store in Scotland by providing exclusive supporter club discounts and player visits to the store.”
