Now in its 38th year, Pride in the Job celebrates the exceptional contribution site managers make in creating homes of outstanding quality. Around 16,000 site managers are assessed with only 300 awards made, which means the accolade recognises the industry’s top two percent who produce the best quality new homes, built and finished to the highest possible standards.

As well as undergoing spot checks of the day-to-day running of their site, each site manager is assessed across 37 different areas of site management, including technical knowledge, quality and consistency.

Craig is one of 11 CALA site managers to win one of this year’s awards. He will now go through to the next stage of the competition, the Seal of Excellence Awards, which will be announced in the autumn.

David McGrath, Managing Director for CALA Homes (East), said: “CALA is an upmarket homebuilder which prides itself both on the quality of our homes and on having well-managed developments with the very highest levels of site safety. Our independent customer satisfaction scores show that 93% of customers would recommend CALA to a friend which is testament to the pride, care and attention to detail that goes into creating a CALA home.

“NHBC Pride in the Job is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive and we are delighted for both Craig and the whole team at Ten Brunswick Road that they have been recognised in this way.”

Craig Donaldson, said: “Winning this award is an exceptional highlight in my career. I have been in the industry for over 31 years and it feels incredible to be able to celebrate all the years of hard work with such a meaningful success.

“I’ve been a part of CALA Homes for just under two years, and I can say without a doubt that it is one of the best companies I have ever worked for.

“It is not only an immense personal achievement but also a huge success for my whole team. I could not have accomplished this without all of these brilliant, hard-working people who continuously strive to exceed in what they do. I could not be any prouder.”

Offering a varied selection of spacious apartments, many with the benefit of external space in the form of a terrace or balcony, Ten Brunswick Road is perfectly designed for exciting city centre living.

The development offers doorstep access to world-famous attractions, cosmopolitan nightlife, plentiful local amenities and rapid transport links.
