The Scierra Pairs carries the highest prize fund in British competition fly-fishing and it arrives at Morton Fishings on Sunday, June 3.

There are prizes at every heat in addition to the final and the format allows a pair of anglers entering to fish in the same boat.

Restrictive rules are kept to a minimum and the competition allows all flies permitted by the fishery.

Each pair on first entry receives a pack containing relevant products worth more than the entry fee.

There are also hidden prizes and multiple entries are encouraged.

The organisers are keen to encourage junior participation. Every pair of anglers containing one or more anglers under 18 can claim a discount of £10 on first entry.

New stock was due to arrive at Morton Fishings ahead of the event and there is late availability for entry.

Call organiser Phil Dixon on +44 075 84642242 or email scierrapairs@yahoo.co.uk or enter via the scierra pairs website on www.scierrapairs.co.uk as soon as possible if you want to take part.

Morton is not closed on Sunday to bank fishing and there are 40-plus pegs available from 8am.
