Waverley Mall, Edinburgh is on the hunt for Edinburgh’s untapped talent, to take to the stage and entertain their guests.
The centre, which is located on Princes Street, right next to Waverley Station has recently installed a stage, which they hope will become a focal point for entertainment in the centre.
The stage is located in the food court on the lower mall, which attracts numerous customers passing through the city as well as those with more time to dwell.
In a city renowned for talent in a multitude of guises, Waverley Mall is hoping to attract artists of various disciplines and provide them with the opportunity to showcase their talents to the centre’s customers throughout the week. With over 6.5 million people passing through Waverley Mall every year, from a variety of backgrounds and consumer groups, performers have a vast and varied audience to test their material on. While entertainers benefit from the experience of performing to a live audience, customers can enjoy the addition of a unique and enlivening element to their shopping trip or dining experience.
Comedians, musicians, vocalists and entertainers are invited to secure their space in the spotlight by contacting the centre via email at admin@waverleymall.com. There are spots available throughout December including weekends.
Jacquelyn Stewart, Centre Manager, Waverley Mall says, “We’re really excited to be able to offer performers the opportunity to take to the stage and entertain our customers. The activity will create a great atmosphere in the centre as well as offering aspiring artists the opportunity to have their talents recognised.”
