A spokesperson said : “Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of music. On St Cecilia’s Day, Wednesday 22 November, we intend to celebrate Edinburgh’s musicians of all ages, abilities and genres at St Cecilia’s Hall. A full day of free, live music in Scotland’s oldest purpose-built Concert Room by a lively and diverse range of soloists, choirs, ensembles and bands from across Edinburgh.

“Come along and take a ‘lucky dip’ into music on a day that will certainly not fail to engage and entertain.”
