Inverleith travel to Uddingston on Saturday looking for their first points since their return to Division One as the men’s programme bounces back after the junior inter-district tournament.

The Edinburgh side have so far lost 5-1 to champions Bromac Kelburne at Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre and 8-5 to Edinburgh University at Peffermill.

Coach Stuart Neave is determined to cut out mistakes which were apparent in their reverse against the much-changed students.

Edinburgh University are also in action at home to Clydesdale at Peffermill (push back 16.00).

The Titwood-based club have lost twice at home, 4-0 to Grange and 6-3 to Kelburne, and are in need of a lift.

However, Clydesdale coach Callum McLeod will see Graham Moodie’s men as an opportunity to put points on the board.

Grange visit Anniesland looking to maintain their 100 per cent record and they square-up to Hillhead.

The Edinburgh club have also edged Grove Menzieshill (2-1) in a scrappy game at Fettes College.

The other fixtures this weekend see Kelburne at Dundee International Sports Centre against Grove Menzieshill (16.15) while Western Wildcats entertain Dundee Wanderers (14.00) at Auchenhowie.

On Sunday, Hillhead entertain Kelburne while Uddingston host Grove.
