Hearts head to Ibrox Stadium on Saturday to face Rangers with the Maroons boosted by the news that striker Isma Goncalves has had the red card issued to him at Kilmarnock last Saturday rescinded. The 26-year-old, who scored the only goal of the game at Rugby Park, is now available to Hearts Interim Head Coach Jon Daly. Also set to return in the Hearts first team is attacking midfielder Jamie Walker, who has been the subject of transfer speculation linking him with a move to Ibrox.
Meanwhile, Hearts midfielder Don Cowie has extended his contract keeping him at Tynecastle until 2019. The 34-year-old Scotland international has made nearly 60 appearances for the Jambos but is considered a doubt for the trip to Ibrox because of injury.
Finally, Hearts have been linked with a move for former Burton Albion goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin.
